CHEMICAL PEELS
Advanced corrective treatments customized to your skin’s needs, concerns, and goals.
Chemical peels are designed to improve the appearance of concerns such as uneven pigmentation, texture, congestion, dullness, fine lines, and signs of aging. At Skin Studio, your peel is not selected from a menu. Each treatment begins with an assessment of your skin’s current condition, concerns, and tolerance so we can determine the most appropriate approach for your skin that day.
Your peel selection may evolve from visit to visit as your skin responds and progresses. Some treatments may include a single peel solution, while others may benefit from a customized combination of NOON Aesthetics peel technologies. As your licensed esthetician, I will guide your treatment plan with the goal of creating meaningful results while maintaining the health, integrity, and safety of your skin.
NOON Aesthetics peels utilize DermShield™ Technology, an innovative approach designed to support skin comfort during advanced corrective treatments. This technology allows us to work with highly effective active ingredients while helping reduce unnecessary irritation and inflammation.
While some clients may experience mild redness, dryness, or visible exfoliation depending on the treatment selected, many NOON peel treatments can be integrated into your lifestyle with thoughtful preparation and customized post-treatment care.
For best results, chemical peels are often recommended as part of a series of treatments. Your treatment plan will be adjusted over time based on your skin’s response and evolving needs.

PREPARATION FOR A PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT
Before your peel, we will discuss how to prepare your skin to support the best possible outcome. Preparation recommendations may include:
Using appropriate professional skincare prior to treatment
Avoiding intentional tanning and excessive sun exposure
Adjusting certain exfoliating or prescription products as recommended
It is recommended to delay use of Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, and high percentage glycolic acid products for approximately five days prior to treatment.
Your treatment may be adjusted or rescheduled if your skin is not in an appropriate condition for a peel.
POST PROFESSIONAL SKIN TREATMENT TIPS
Your post-treatment experience will depend on the peel selected and your individual skin response. Not every peel results in visible peeling. Some clients experience mild redness, dryness, or light flaking while others may have minimal visible changes.
As with all peels and treatments, it is recommended that makeup not be applied the day of treatment, as it is ideal to allow the skin to stabilize and rest overnight. Do not wash face until instructed by your esthetician.
It is recommended that other topical, over-the-counter medications or alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) products not be applied to the skin seven days post procedure, as they may cause irritation.
Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat minimum 48 hours post peel
Do not pick or pull on any loosening or peeling skin. This could potentially cause hyperpigmentation.
Do no have electrolysis, facial waxing or use depilatories for approximately 7-10 days.
